When writing a descriptive essay, the thesis will be the main idea of the essay, while when writing an argumentative essay, the thesis is typically the main argument or the central argument.
An introduction. An introduction essay demands that you begin your essay by introducing yourself to the reader and what you want to accomplish with your essay. This can be done by writing a short personal statement or a quote. The introduction gives a brief overview of the topic and outlines the main points you will be covering in your essay. The purpose of this introduction is not only to establish the tone for the remainder of your essay, but also to provide a brief introduction to your essay.
Character and experience. The sections on character and experience of your essay offer more in-depth and thorough look at the work and life of the person you are writing about. You will use this section to show your understanding of the person and also provide instances of how they led their life and managed difficult situations.
